Dear families and friends,

As you are undoubtedly aware, preventative measures for COVID19 has resulted in the closure of the Loyola Centre, as well as schools, public institutions and all sites where more than 50 people gather. As of today public transportation on the metros and buses are still permitted. Everyone is encouraged to limit physical interactions, and whenever possible people are encouraged to stay home.

The Loyola centre staff is thinking of you and your kids in this uncertain and stressful time. We have forwarded the Loyola Centre phone number to a cell phone and we will be available to provide support for your families if you have health concerns, or are feeling overwhelmed with these events. Please feel free to call us at 514-872-6721 or using WhatsApp to 438-227-2642. We can also be contacted via email.

We have placed worksheets online here, and encourage you to work with your children on their schooling.

Our daily challenges for the children will start on Monday march 30th and will be posted on our facebook and instagram sites

Please support our fundraising efforts to purchase gift cards to grocery stores and pharmacies for low-income families

if they are not compensated by their employer;

if they are not covered by government programs, including employment insurance in the federal government.
The program only applies to adult workers 18 years of age or older.
The request for isolation must be ordered by the Government of Canada, the Government of Quebec or another responsible entity.
The lump sum granted to the eligible person is $ 573 per week, for a period of 14 days of isolation. If their state of health justifies it, the coverage period of the eligible person can be extended up to a maximum of 28 days.
