After School Program

Our after-school program offers youth the opportunity to participate in fun activities – designed to promote communication, conflict resolution and independence – in a safe and inclusive environment, with the goal of supporting their social and emotional development.

Our team is also available to help with homework in an environment of French immersion that encourages academic perseverance and success.

Leadership Program

Through hands-on activities, mentorship, and real-world experiences, our leadership program supports youth in developing the skills, confidence, and vision to lead in their communities and beyond. The leadership program is often part of a path to a first work experience and is open to youth who are already known within the organization. A great first step is to get involved in our other activities!

Teen Program

Teen Drop-In provides a safe space for teens, where they can tackle schoolwork independently, access free healthy snacks, play games and just hang out with friends in a space they can make their own.

In addition to drop-in hours, our teen program offers tutoring and study groups, as well as special-interest activities and workshops planned by youth based on their interests. Our team has facilitated everything from chess tournaments to clothing customization.

Gym Programs

Open Gym is a drop-in program that runs Friday and Saturday evenings, giving youth the opportunity not only to play basketball, but to connect with friends and our youth workers.

Evening sports is aimed at children 8-13 years old, and allows them to explore different sports and physical activities in a fun and non-competitive environment. Activities include basketball, soccer, volleyball and dance.

Summer Programs

Every summer, Jeunesse Loyola runs a French-language day camp allowing newly-arrived youth in the province's Classes d'accueil to maintain contact with French even while school is out for summer. Please note, registration in this day camp is by referral only.

.

Not in classe d'accueil? No worries! Our team is in the park and ready to animate games and head off on outings to the pool and many adventures through the city.
